While outside, my mom and I were walking through our private woods when I saw this leaf that I knew I needed to take a photograph of. This rich golden/yellow leaf has slight brown dots and was sitting on a tree stump. The leaf was no bigger than a pinecone and had a soft texture. The edges of the leaf were almost tooth-like but the texture did not change because of this. My favorite season is fall and this leaf symbolizes that season. Even though its just a regular leaf, the meaning has full of possibilities. For me, this leaf symbolizes the beginning of the joyous holidays. While taking these photos, some accomplishments that I achieved was the lighting. I took these pictures around five to six a'clock and the sun was perfect. The sun was able to capture the vibrant colors and reveal the small details on the leaf. I also felt accomplished when I was able to keep the leaf in its natural state. I was able to keep the leaf almost exactly where I found it. I did have to do some rearranging of the leaf on the tree stump but I was still able to keep it close. I also was able to capture the beautiful background (fields and tree stump) and show some of the texture on the tree stump.
